A4. Applicability

A4.2 The Responsible Wool Standard*pliance with the*nts of the Content Claim Standard (CCS) whereby:
1. For application to the RWS, each reference of “CCS” in the Content Claim Standard  shall be understood as “RWS”. In the case*ntradiction with the CCS, the RWS*nt supersedes that of the CCS. 
2.*d Material, as defined in the CCS, refers to “RWS Wool” for the RWS which is defined as: 
RWS Wool: wool produced from RWS certified sites or*ld*anizations that are certified*ply with the applicable modules 
of the RWS. 
A4.3 Under this standard certified products may be 100% certified wool or blended certified*ntaining from 5 – 99% percentage of certified material. Final products 
containing nonYcertified wool are not permiRed to be labelled with the* or logo. See RWS'Logo'Use'and'Claims'Guide for*rmation on*munication.
A5. Certification Body*nts
A5.1 All CBs shall be authorized to perform RWS Certification activities Y initially by TE Y in*rdance with the RWS Licensing*nts for Certification Bodies. Licensing to the RWS is divided into the*petencies of Farm Scope and Supply Chain Scope; 
CBs may apply for one  or both
A5.2 CBs*et all*nts of TE’s Accreditation and Certification Procedures 
for Textile  Exchange Standards and thereby ISO 17065.
